See your working week
the way it actually is

A focused session that walks through when your attention arrives naturally and when it drifts — and where one or two small adjustments might quietly change how a week feels.

What this session offers

A clearer picture — not a new system to follow

After this session, you will have a one-page written map of your working week — where your attention concentrates, where it falters, and two or three specific, low-effort shifts worth trying over the following weeks.

The changes proposed will be modest by design. The aim is not a complete reworking of how you work — it is finding the places where a little less friction allows the rest to settle more naturally.

Written summary

A one-page map delivered after the session — something to return to over the following weeks.

Optional follow-up

A brief check-in a few weeks after, to see how the suggested adjustments have settled in practice.

Durable adjustments

Suggestions that fit your existing routine rather than requiring you to build an entirely new one.

What tends to be going on

When the week feels slightly off but it is hard to name why

Most people who come to this session are not in crisis with their productivity. They are doing reasonably well. But there is a persistent sense that certain parts of the week cost more than they should — tasks that take twice as long as expected, afternoons that somehow disappear, a low-level tiredness that follows from work that felt effortful rather than absorbing.

It is rarely one large problem. More often it is a cluster of small mismatches: working on demanding tasks at the wrong time of day, scheduling meetings in the gaps where focus would otherwise settle, or holding a mental to-do list that consumes background attention without ever getting resolved.

These patterns are easier to see with a little distance and a structured conversation. That is what this session is for.

The approach

Listening for what is already there

This session works by walking through your current week in some detail — not to judge it, but to notice the patterns already present. When does your attention arrive most readily? Where does it tend to slip? What kinds of tasks feel lighter, and which carry an unexplained weight?

The consultant does not arrive with a pre-formed system to teach. The work is specific to your week, your work type, and what you have already noticed yourself. The output is a written map — not a programme, not a habit tracker — just a clear picture and two or three well-considered suggestions.

The focus throughout is on changes that are small enough to actually happen — the kind you do not need to remember to do, because they fit the shape of what you already do.

What to expect

How the session tends to feel

01

A conversation, not an assessment

The session starts with a straightforward walk through your typical week — when you work, what kinds of tasks you handle, and where things tend to feel heavier than expected. There is no form to fill out beforehand, and nothing to prepare.

02

Patterns become visible

As the conversation moves, certain things tend to come into focus — times of day that are being used less well than they might be, recurring points of friction, small defaults that have accumulated over time. These are explored gently, without pressure to arrive at conclusions immediately.

03

Adjustments are drafted together

Towards the end of the session, two or three specific adjustments are discussed — changes that are small enough to implement without disruption and concrete enough to try. These are captured in the written summary sent after the session.

04

You carry it forward, with a check-in available

You leave with a written map and a clear sense of where to start. A brief follow-up is available a few weeks later if you want to share how things have settled — though there is no obligation to use it.

How it works in practice

What tends to shift — and on what timeline

This is a single session, so it is not designed to produce dramatic change overnight. What it tends to produce is a clearer picture — and a small number of adjustments specific enough to actually try.

Week one

Reading the written map. Identifying which of the suggested adjustments fits most naturally with your current week.

Weeks two and three

Trying the adjustments in practice — noting where things ease and where further refinement might help.

Optional follow-up

A brief check-in to discuss what has settled and whether any further small adjustments are worth considering.

Progress is not tracked through metrics or habit logs. The measure is simpler: whether the week feels a little less effortful after the adjustments have had time to settle.

How to approach this

No pressure to decide right away

If you are curious about this session but are not yet certain it is the right fit, reaching out with a question is completely fine. The initial exchange is just a conversation — there is no obligation to proceed, and nothing to commit to before you feel comfortable.

If after the session you feel the work did not meet what was discussed, that is a conversation worth having. The goal is for the session to be useful to you in practice — not just well-intentioned.

A practical note

This is not a therapeutic service. The session deals with the practical patterns of your working week — not psychological or medical concerns. If what you are experiencing feels more significant than a productivity question, it may be worth speaking with an appropriate professional alongside or instead.
